Set bathroom lights to turn on in dim state

I'm in the middle of a home renovation in UK and am pretty much decided on getting Varilight v pro smart dimmers for the entire house.
One of the features I need is that if I turn on the bathroom lights at night, they should turn on at 10 percent brightness so it's easy on the eyes. I also want to be able to turn up the brightness through the physical dimmer if required. Would this be possible using the supla app?

I have basic home automation skills and am can potentially work with home assistant if that will do the job.

You can turn the lights on at any percentage of brightness with the app, but the button on the wall always turns the lights on at the level they were before you turned them off. We plan to introduce a schedule feature that would allow you to change the brightness settings without turning on the lights, but it's not ready at the moment.

You can integrate a dimmer with HA but it will still not be possible to change the brightness without turning on the light.

I am also very interested in this idea. I have some Varilight V-Pro smart dimmers and would like the default brightness to be certain levels based on the time of day. I tried setting up some Scenes in Supla Cloud to make this work, but I’ve realised after reading this thread that this would not work (it would only work if activating the Scene after turning on the lights, which is pointless).

Please could you advise if there is any timeline or update on the development of this functionality that the original poster was asking about?

PS - I accept that most likely there would be an unavoidable temporary transition from the brightness the lights were last set to with the physical on/off button, to the brightness desired when the lights turn on at a certain time of day.

We plan to introduce a new feature that allows you to change the brightness without turning on the lights (if the dimmer is off). This will allow you to set schedules that change the brightness depending on the time of day.

The update should appear in the first quarter of 2026.
