Radiator can't be controlled via app

My supla radiator rarely connects with the app.

I can still switch it on and off with the remote control.

Sometimes if I switch it off and on at the wall (power supply) it will restart and appear on the app, but this only happens about 10% of the time.

Any ideas what the problem is?

What kind of device is it?
What is the Wi-Fi range?

It's the WiFi bathroom heater.

The router is about 5-6 metres away.

It's an intermittent problem so I'm not sure if it's WiFi electrical, software etc.

I understand that the app is always on, but the dot is flashing red and green? If so, it sounds like the device is having trouble accessing the Wi-Fi network. Perhaps the signal is too weak, the channel is too noisy, or the router has some limitations.

There's no green light.

When the app isn't working the display is blank or has a red dot in the bottom right.

If the app is working the dot appears bottom centre.
