Controllers disconnecting and won't enter pairing mode

Hi,

I have five Heatpol Home+ controllers connected to my Supla account. Three of them are on firmware 2.7.26 and work perfectly. The other two are on firmware 2.8.60 and keep disconnecting from the Supla app after around 24 hours, requiring a full reset to reconnect.

Having read the thread at viewtopic.php?t=17025 I believe the two affected controllers have the duplicate GUID issue identified in that thread.

I attempted to apply the [email protected] fix to the controllers. I got into pairing mode, connected to the controller's WiFi, opened 192.168.4.1, entered my WiFi credentials, entered [email protected] in the email field, svr11.supla.org in the server field, set Firmware Update to YES, and pressed Save & Restart.

However the controllers are now stuck and will not enter pairing mode via the button sequence. Power cycling has not resolved this. Because it is no longer registered in my Supla account I am unable to retrieve its GUIDs.

Could you please advise how to recover the stuck controller, and whether you are able to push the firmware update directly to both devices?

Many thanks

Your description doesn't indicate a problem with GUIDs. If so, devices with the same GUID would be kicking each other out of the server every minute. Unplug the power and plug it back in. Then try putting the heater into pairing mode. Check if the heater is broadcasting the Wi-Fi network. If not, the devices are most likely damaged.

Thanks for the response.

Can you give me any information on how to get the controllers into pairing mode. I have tried holding the - button for seconds and then again for 5 seconds but they won't seem to go into pairing mode.

Thanks. I have tried that and it doesn't work. So the conclusion is its broken and needs replacing?

Is temperature setpoint change working? What happens when you hold + or - button?

Yes I can adjust the temperature using + and - buttons. If I press and hold the - button it it turns off after five seconds. However, if I then release and press the - button again, nothing happens. I just can't get them in pairing mode.

That's not the expected behavior. Please contact the seller/manufacturer for a further support (i.e. replacement).
