in your design you should have connected Gpio2 "D4" of Esp8266 with Reset of MCP23017.
Gpio2 of Esp8266 changes state when starting Esp8266, which guarantees the restart of MCP23017 together with the Esp8266 "don't use Gpio2 in your code"
It is not normal that the MCP23017 is blocked during the normal operation of the device and if you have problems of this type they are usually caused by the power supply of the MCP23017 therefore make sure that the ground conductor has a good diameter, add filters "capacitors of 10 and 0.1 micro farads close to the MCP23017 between 3.3v and ground or even power with a separate 3.3v regulator.

I`m not using GIPO2, so I may consider that solution.
And the problem with suspension of MCP occures only once a month.
So it`s not a big issue, however it`s still an issue.

It is possibly caused by a reboot of the Esp8266 and the connection of Gpio2 solves this problem.

Chciałbym powrócić do tematu automatycznego resetu.
Czy możecie mi pomóc w napisaniu programiku pod esp żeby działał tak jak do tej pory ale ping puszczał nie do www.google.pl tylko do adresu w mojej sieci np. 192.168.2.116. Jeżeli moje urządzenie o adresie 192.168.2.116 nie odpowie na ping to następuje restart.

and what is your problem, you can define the Host in WiFiConfig simply define the IP instead of "www.google.pl"

Ok. Ale jeszcze czas po którym następuje restart na mniejszy, 5 min. Czyli wysyła ping do 192.168.2.116 co 10 sec, jest ping to nic się nie dzieje. Utrata ping do 192.168.2.116, 5 min i robi restart.
