Hi, I’ve recently set up two lighting circuits to automatically turn on at 08:00, however despite setting to retry on failure, I’m seeing failures on 2 days this week, with no data to show why the switch on failed. Could this be because the lights were already on? How can I find out more about why the automation failed?
With thanks in advance.

Typically, this situation occurs when the device was offline or when someone turned the light on manually shortly after turning it off. It could also happen if you used underdeveloped software that incorrectly reports the device's status.

Thanks, I’ve scheduled it for a little earlier so it should avoid the risk that someone had just turned it on manually. Connectivity isn’t likely to be the issue.pzygmunt wrote: Thu Nov 09, 2023 11:45 am Typically, this situation occurs when the device was offline or when someone turned the light on manually shortly after turning it off.
