Chip is manufactured by SuzhouSm Suzhou SmartChip Semiconductor Co., LTD and is not an ESP8266 compatible type.

They originally implemented ESP8266 but currently use S9070.
when you order you will not know if it will be ESP8266 "old from warehouse" or the new one with S9070 "most likely".
this is a shame, I would like to prepare a firmware for this controller including the control with the IR remote control.
if someone who has one with ESp8266 is interested we can do.
